The session

How the call works.

You pick a time and I call you. Thirty minutes on the phone. That is the free strategy session.

We talk about where you are. Maybe you are just getting out, maybe you have been at this a while. I listen first, then I walk you through some potential strategies so you can see what is actually in front of you.

Off duty

Who you'd be talking to.

Girl dad in Iowa. I wrote two children's books about our family dogs, and I host a podcast about faith, money, and mental health. That is the guy on the other end of the call.

Service

What the Navy taught me.

I served in the United States Navy aboard the USS George H.W. Bush. That chapter shaped how I think about responsibility, discipline, teamwork, and doing the job the right way. It is also why veterans getting straight answers matters this much to me.

  • A service member saluting in front of a large American flag at a ceremony

    Commitment

Showing up when people are counting on you.

  • A Navy damage control team working a fire drill in a shipboard engineering space

    Teamwork

Understanding that nobody moves forward alone.

  • A U.S. Navy sailor checking a gauge and logging readings in an engine room

    Discipline

Doing the work even when it is not easy or convenient.

  • A line of sailors with right hands raised, taking the oath on a carrier deck

    Integrity

Being honest, direct, and careful with people's trust.

  • Sailors running together on a carrier flight deck in the early morning

    Perseverance

Pushing through when it would be easier to quit.

Ready when you are.

Thirty minutes on the phone. You leave knowing what the steps are and what to prepare. It costs nothing.
