Education

How I think about financial education.

I'm insurance licensed and education first. My job is helping families understand their options. I don't give investment advice, and I don't believe in pressure. I just try to make money decisions feel clearer.

I believe people deserve straight answers, not pressure.

The conversation

What a Clarity Session is.

A Clarity Session is a simple, education first conversation. We look at where you are, what questions matter to you, and what options might be worth learning more about.

The approach

Three things I focus on.

  • Clarity

    Understand your options.

Education first. Plain English. No jargon, no pressure, no scripted close. I want you to actually know what you're choosing.

  • Protection

    Build a foundation that holds.

Protection is what keeps a plan working when life turns sideways. I focus on insurance based options that fit your household, not someone else's spreadsheet.

  • Foundation

    Plan for the long haul.

Slow is fine. There's no shortcut. You learn, you show up, and you give compounding time to work. The earlier you build the foundation, the more it can carry.

Beliefs

A few things I actually believe.

The compass behind every conversation. Education first. Foundation first. Always honest.

  1. 01

    Education comes first.

If you don't understand the choice, you can't make it. Most uninformed financial moves aren't bad moves. They're just uninformed.

  2. 02

    Protection is a foundation.

The right protection in place is what lets the rest of a plan keep working when life turns sideways.

  3. 03

    Slow is fine.

There is no shortcut. There is just learning, showing up, and compounding over time.

  4. 04

    Your household is the unit.

Money decisions don't happen to a person. They happen to a family. Plan that way.

  5. 05

    Honest beats clever.

If a strategy needs to be marketed, sold under pressure, or feels too good to be true, walk.

Scope

What I do, and what I don't.

I do

  • Help families understand financial education concepts
  • Explain insurance based protection strategies in plain English
  • Connect people to the right starting point. 3 Path Financial for one on one conversations, or Total Money Wellness for self paced learning

I don't

  • Give investment, tax, or legal advice
  • Make guarantees about returns or future performance
  • Sell anything from this website

The team behind the work

My financial education and insurance based work is connected to 3 Path Financial, the venture I co founded with Mark Yard and Aaron Duchane. The Clarity Session conversation starts here, with me. If I'm not the right fit, I'll connect you with a teammate who is.
